Energy consumption investigation and analysis on office buildings in Tianjin

Investigating 552 office buildings in Tianjin, obtains the statistical data of architecture overview and energy consumption, and selects 24 from them as the sample buildings. By analysing the data of the sample in 2010, finds that the total annual power consumption per unit floor area is 26.79 kW·h /( m²·a ) to 125.45 kW·h/( m²·a ), averaging 64.25 kW·h/( m²·a); the heating energy consumption per unit heated floor area is 0.21 GJ/( m²·a) to 0.37 GJ/( m²·a) in the heating season in 2010, averaging 0.27 GJ/( m²·a). The results show that more problems exist in the office buildings in Tianjin, building energy consumption is larger and there is a large space for improvement of building energy efficiency.
